I shot a little video every day of 2011 on my Canon Powershot, then I edited it all down to a little over a second each. It’s interesting to be able to look back on my year and remember these little moments. I love living in LA, the friends I’ve made, and seeing how much has changed over just one year. Some of the things I really like seeing: Explorers Club trips, bringing Maude home from the shelter (then using her when I forgot to film my day), awkward walking shots of mine and Justin’s feet because I was too shy, filming Googy, Channel 101, parties, food…

Sure, I was sick about 1/3 of the year and I worked a lot (driving around, running errands all day). Some days I got lazy, I got shy to ask friends to be in it, or I’d forget I hadn’t filmed something from my day until I was about to go to bed. So, there’s a few dull/cat shots. Oh well, it’s motivation for 2012 (now with my shiny, awesome Olympus Pen)!

I feel a little weird posting this, considering it’s all me for about 7 1/2 minutes. I’m proud of myself for sticking to it this year and I’m proud of myself for editing it. Got some learning done and that’s always good. So, yeah, enough writing… here it is, you guys. I hope I didn’t spell Feburary wrong… February.

Aaaand if you haven’t already seen them, you should check out Dave Seger’s 15/sec/day projects, because they are amazing and I don’t know how he had enough time in his life to do them along with all the cool things he already does.

This is awesome. Very cool idea. I want to do it!
